Hardened "plugs" made of KF-C are the best way to detain water before the final application.
A glassy, solid KALMATRON® KF-C patch stops leaks immediately and permanently, for as long as the repaired structure exists.
Hand made "Hot Patch" of KALMATRON® KF-C stops a pressured leak in 30 seconds.
The "welding of concrete" with KALMATRON® KF-C stops any leaks and resurfaces concrete defects.

   KALMATRON® KF-C is the fastest hardening plug compound for stopping pressured 
   leaks in the concrete, wooden, and masonry structures. KF-C plugs the leaks under 
   the pressures up to 19 Bar. 

   KF-C can be applied in underwater conditions with the use of hardened KF-C plugs, as shown below, at left, and by gunite afterward.

                                     PREPARATION AND APPLICATION

   1. Add one part of water to four parts of KF-C by volume and mix for no longer   
       than 30 seconds. Some heat will be released.

   2. Mix only as much product as can be used in 20 minutes. Usually, it is  
       approximately 500 grams or 1 Lb.

   3. Don't add any more water into the KF-C dough. Keep mixing. 

   4. First, make 6-9 balls, cylinders, or plugs within 5 minutes of preparing the mix.

   5. The diameter of each plug depends on the size of the void. Usually it's about 1/2" 
       to 1" or 12 to 25 mm.

   6. While the plug is still soft and hot, press it into the leaking void. If necessary, apply  
      several plugs one by one with pressure. Begin pressing from the area where the 
      pressure of the leak is lowest. 
   
   7. If the concrete around the repaired area is crumbled or cracked, apply a thin layer  of KF-B mortar around the KF-C patch to prevent water mitigation to that area. 

KALMATRON® KF-C stopped multiple leaks through the wall of this water tank where mitigating pipes were used. All leakages were controlled and sealed at the same time. A standard gunite machine was used for KF-C application by the Concrete Welding Technique. Despite the pressure of 14 bar (203 pound-force per square inch), not one seepage was observed.
A leaking dent, now welded with KALMATRON® KF-C spray, shows stable water mitigation right after application.
​Multiple leaks in the wall are stopped by air streaming KF-C powder directly into the leaking gaps, using the so-called "welding technique". The result: a permanently dry wall.

A leaking crack in a dent in the wall is stopped and filled by air-streamed KF-C powder using the "welding" technique. It is an actual example of what is generally considered an irreparable defect, but it is easily fixed with KF-C.
​A winery cave room after the repair of numerous leakages with KALMATRON® KF-C and relining of the walls and ceiling with PLASTCRETE. The influx of underground water was mitigated in just a few hours after application--the water can be seen pooled on the floor of the winery room, as it can no longer pass through the ceiling or walls.
